This is the oldest Rochefort offering, first brewed in the early 1950s. It pours a deep, autumnal reddish-brown and delivers a refined, soft spiciness in the aroma, followed by rich notes of caramel, dark fruit, and raisin, and a subtle herbal finish. Bottle-conditioned with live yeast, it’s elegantly carbonated and ages beautifully.
