Guinness ‘Dublin Porter, Brewers Edition’ is a special Pinter collaboration that lets you brew a heritage-inspired Guinness porter at home, finishing at around 3.8% ABV once brewed. Inspired by recipes found in Arthur Guinness’s original brewing books, it’s described as a sweet, smooth beer, deep and rich with a hint of ruby red colour, brewed with roasted Irish barley for that familiar Guinness character.
The flavour profile is dark, mildly hopped and roasty, with a smooth mouthfeel and notes of caramel, gentle roast and subtle bitterness to keep it balanced and highly drinkable at this lower strength. Recommended brewing is 6 days with 4 days conditioning, yielding around 10 pints of carbonated, ruby‑red porter from your Pinter – a unique way to experience Guinness at home in a format that’s distinct from nitrogenated Guinness Draught.
