Hypothesis from Ampersand Brew Co is a 10% imperial stout built on a deceptively simple malt bill that focuses on deep roasted and chocolate flavours. A generous charge of English hops provides plenty of bitterness and a subtle spicy edge, cutting through the rich, full body and keeping the sweetness in check.
Over the years, this stout has been tried and tested, with each vintage refining the same core idea: a moreish, robust imperial stout that invites slow sipping and repeat pours. Unfiltered, unfined and vegan, it’s a dark, intense sipper for late‑night firesides, cheese boards or sharing with stout‑loving friends.
