Let Anguish Embrace (IPA, 6.7%) 440ml

 A demonic 6.66% New England IPA from Nottingham's Black Iris Brewery, brewed in collaboration with local death metallers Kryptess. Built on a pillowy base of oats and wheat with Heidelberg malt for a striking golden colour, it uses Mosaic whole leaf in the boil for bitterness and aroma, with Mosaic Cryo added at pitch. A generous dry hop of Krush and Vic Secret finishes things off, delivering notes of mango, orange, passionfruit and a touch of vanilla, all tied together with a touch of signature Black Iris bitterness. Vegan-friendly and every bit as bold as the name suggests.
