Traditionally brewed for Oktoberfest, Märzen is a celebration beer — deep in colour, rich in flavour, and made for sharing. Goodh Brewing Co's take on this Bavarian classic is a confident one. A smooth and full-bodied lager with rich layers of malty sweetness, aromas of fruitcake and marzipan lead into flavours of biscuit and caramel, rounded by a gentle dry bitterness from Tettnang — a classic Noble hop with floral, spicy, and black tea notes that give balance and drinkability.
Best enjoyed as the nights draw in, when a warming, malty lager is exactly what the moment calls for — pairing perfectly with roast pork, bratwurst, and pretzels.
