Mojave Nights (Pale Ale, 4.2%) 440ml

Mojave Nights was inspired by a series of live recordings from some of Black Iris's favourite bands during Covid, where they played live sets in the Mojave Desert. The vast, sun-scorched landscape of the Californian desert has long been spiritual home to the stoner and doom rock scene — think Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age and Fu Manchu — and it's a fitting muse for this clean, no-nonsense pale ale. A host of classic American C hops create a dry, crisp and smashable pale, where spritzy citrus, freshly cut grass and a slice of resinous pine all collide for delicious drinkability. Big on flavour, easy on strength, and adorned with the killer can artwork of Black Iris's resident designer Kev Grey. Vegan-friendly.
